“My name is Brandon Baker. I am 18 years old. I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. I now live in New Braunfels, Texas. I skateboard and I am a Christian. I have been following Jesus for about 10 years. The first time I went to Extol, one of my friends tagged me on the flyer on Instagram, so I showed up. After I heard Brian Sumner’s story, it totally spoke to me because I want to get more involved in helping with people, through the Church, to help people know who Jesus is. Extol has always been a part of trying to help people. I wanted to be a part of that.”

“I can’t even express what happened to God just showed up in the most real way”

“Appreciate God, because without Him we would be nothing. Always stay positive, no matter what it is. You have to appreciate what you have and what you don’t have. If you worship through God, pray every day, pray for help and everything you need to help get through it because times will get better, no matter how hard it is and you just have to stay on the positive side.”

“It’s not that I was an atheist. Sometimes people would ask me and I would call myself that. I was more or less agnostic. I didn’t want anything to do with religion. I wanted to control my life, be who I wanted to be. What I encourage people … I want them to know no matter what they are going through, God is right there with them. Isiah says “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial.” No matter what you are going through God’s promises are real. My name is Jaxon Lindsey. I have been skateboarding for 14 years. I am a Christian and God has done some wonderful things in my life in the last seven months.”
